Let's do some math!
If a player works on his or her fundamental stick skills for 15 minutes a day can a player improve dramatically?
The answer is ABSOLUTELY!!!
Here is how.
15 minutes per day for 365 days per year equals 91.25 hours of practice time.
A varsity team will practice for an average of 2 hours per day over the course of their season with roughly 25 days of practice during the regular season. This means that by working for 15 minutes a day through the year a player will get almost TWICE as much practice time as we see through the season.
So, if a player hits the wall for 15 minutes a day and can throw the ball 25 times against the wall every minute that will result in 375 passes per day. If that player assumes P.R.I.D.E. that will result in just under 137,000 passes per year.
What does this mean?
1. Commit yourself.
2. Work!!!
3. Player other sports because you can find 15 minutes a day.
4 P.R.I.D.E.
Oh yeah there are 22 minutes of commercials in an hour long television show. If a player worked for 22 minutes a day that would be just over 200,000 passes per year.
Think about it...the math doesn't lie.
