NC PRIDE!!!
One of the big things we talk about in the high school lacrosse program is Pride. More than a word it symbolizes all that we strive for in our program. It is not solely about how we play on the field, but rather it is the way we conduct ourselves as student athletes, sons and members of our society. As I enter my second season here at New Canaan High School we will stress a sense of accountability for all that we, as players, coaches and members of the NC lacrosse community do to ensure that PRIDE is our watchword.
Last spring, while thinking of what PRIDE meant to me as a coach and member of this program, I came up with

Our program is one that will demand the highest level of commitment by young men to become something greater than themselves. They must become a part of something bigger. They must teammates, become a part of something better. They must become a member of a team that will succeed based on their willingness to put their team, teammates and goals ahead of themselves.
It is through clear vision and goals that a team can find the level of success that can truly be achieved.
Being a part of the New Canaan Lacrosse Program is not about winning or losing. It is about become a better player, a greater student and most importantly a dynamic young man.
